Project 365: Week Two

Week two, dropping a few more crumbs along the path from this week:

Jan. 6, Day 6:
Letting the last Christmas light shine before it all goes back into storage.

Jan. 7th, Day 7:
Finished the last page of the book

Jan. 8th, Day 8:
I love when I have my Grandma with me, we get all the best parking spots!
I took my Grandma up for several appointments up through the canyon. I was lucky enough to get a chance to pick up a few necessities at Barnes and Noble. I live in the middle of nowhere and we are deprived of any kind of a book store. So I never pass up a chance to slip in and get something new.

Jan. 9th, Day 9:
The sun has begun eating away at the piles of snow.  I have been trying to figure out the whole Infrared thing for my photo hunt, this is one of the MANY that I played with.

I've also been trying to take a self portrait that I could use for a new profile picture.  As you can see it's not going so well.

Jan. 10th, Day 10: A weekly tradition!  Every Sunday my entire  family (aunts, uncles, cousins and their kids) gathers at my Grandma and Grandpa's house, we visit, play and eat ice cream.  I hope that this tradition will live on forever.

Jan. 11th, Day 11: A Mosaic art project proudly made by my Kindergartner.  She gave it to me a few days after Christmas.

If you'd like to see the beginning of this project and what its about visit my first
Project 365 post here.

I like all the best parking too--so there is a perk for taking grandma where she needs to go. I hope the tradition continues forever too--and Iz's vase is very cheery :)

You're more organised than me re Christmas decorations (and it's now Jan 12TH!) -I'm still finding some stray bits around the house!
Your snow pic is amazing,I must enquire from Hubby about this infra red thing.
Look forward to the finished portrait.
And I love your ice cream tradition- cool!

The tissue paper mosaic is outstanding. You have a little artist in the making.

Congratulations on all your successes this week! The first photo is great - a wonderful angle. Love the mosaic your little one made, too!

Great pictures. Someone in my family had those same dishes. Hmm probably my G'ma. Brings back memories. Love the tradition too. Definitely one that needs to be continued for years and years and years to come.

So did you like Lost Symbol? I really did. I hope they make it into a movie too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
My 365 is a bit different. I take a photo of Kitty every single day. It has been quite a ride. I started in Sept. I really only commit to a month at a time, but It is likely I'll do 365.

Your pics are fun, and colorful. I love the vase one.

See you next week.

Great pictures. I love the shadows and light angles.

The vase is beautiful. Very nice.

What a wonderful tradition with your grandparents. I would love for that to be possible with us. Maybe someday.

Did you like the book?

Your kindergartner did that mosaic? That is VERY cool -- I love color.

I read the Dan Brown book when it first came out - what did you think of it?

And I think the self portraits are coming along just fine -- would it be weird if I said you have rather hypnotic eyes?

I'm so glad you linked up with us this week!
