With summer days winding down I wanted to remember one of the best parts of long lazy days. I love driving for hours to get to a secluded spot on an open mountain range, parking on a hill of dirt and rolling out the weenies! Now normally I really hate hotdogs, but my kids love them. And a hotdog doesn't really taste like fake meat when its been roasted over an open fire and infused with the flavor of cedar, smoke, and dirt. And then the best part is following that processed log with a gooey, sticky smore. Yum! Are you drooling yet? I didn't think so.

I love how the flame is peeking through your sepia. And I agree, the only time I can eat a hot dog is cooked over a fire followed by a smore.
Really great photo of something very nice..and good.
Have a nice day.

We're gonna have to get a bonfire goin' at the farm & do that very thing! Thanks for the reminder!!!
Love the sepia image and light touch of heat at its center. Now I need to go camping. I so want a hotdog roasted over an open fire. Oh, and a s'more too. Yummmm.
Hi Heidi;
Love the sepia look on your photo and yes I am drooling. I love hotdogs roasting over an open fire and smores are to die for. LOL!! Now I'll have to go make my lunch. I wish I had smores!! Thanks for stopping by my site.
wow thats looks yummy!!!
Hot dogs over a fire just scream summer to me. And they are ALWAYS better over a fire. Always. :)
Roasted hotdogs over a fire - a treat, especially when just before burned, the casing offers a satisfying snap when bit into. Hotdogs and campfires, the perfect combination!
the effect of the flames is great!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Love the weenies!
I'm not yearning for the hotdog...but I LOVE the aroma of an open fire. ;-)
I also love the effect of the fire that you captured. Very nice sepia.
Yum, the flavor of... dirt! haha
Happy belated Sepia Scenes ~
