A few months ago my family all went for a fun day with Thomas The Train. The inside of Thomas was a wee bit of a shock. It was in quite a state of disrepair, the roof was rusted nearly through, the seats had certianly seen better days, and there were holes that you could see the ground through as you passed from car to car. Despite the condition that the cars were in the day was fun and the train was rather nostalgic. I have tons of great pictures of the details of the train here are a few.

This sign was near where Thomas waited for his passengers. If anyone knows what on earth chocking your wheels means, please, by all means enlighten me.

Sad it is in such a sad shape but the photos are great.
I like the first picture! Pictures of details often do well in sepia!
Thank you for your comment at my blog! Have a nice evening!
The first picture is my favorite. Really nice work. I like such details very much.
To chock your wheels means to put a block behind them.
We used to love a Day Out with Thomas.
I love the sign picture! What software are you using?
Thomas is in disrepair? That's too bad. Neat sepia photo you shared.
Sepia and nostalgia go hand in hand.
Interesting collage..I still haven't created one of those.
The sepia makes the train look old, like the bronze and cast iron of an old locomotive. The shame is that Thomas seems to be falling apart, although that is because of the joy he gave to many kids...
I guess the wheels must be chocked so nothing rolls away...
Perfect for sepia shots if not so much for train riding.
Hi!
Great shots! Too bad Thomas is showing his age! Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great day!

We seem to have had quite a mechanical theme going this week. Funny how that comes together. I enjoyed these very much, friend. Love train yards.
I'm sad to hear Thomas isn't looking well. His people can do better than that, I should think. Your photos look great though!
That was a fun day and your photo's look great. FYI: The engine is the only part of Thomas that travels from railroad yard to railroad yard. The yard provides the coaches--these dilipitated models belong to the Heber Valley Railroad :) Thomas is in fine shape!
sorry about your crappy day :(
I guess they tried to make it seems like a real steam engine in the old day. We did that a couple years ago and the kids had a blast!
Oh, the days of watching Thomas!
(My kids are grown.) :)
Love the shots!
Excellent choices for the sepia toned ones!
So glad someone knew what chocking your wheels meant.
So sorry I'm late getting here. I enjoyed browsing while I was here.
