The spia tone this shot so much, the tree looks menacing, like those mean trees that attacked Snow White!

Stark this picture is, yet the sepia lets us see the harder, not stylish, views of nature. Like Annie, I would prefer to be on the other side of the fence...

Bare trees do so well in sepia. Now if on the other side of the fence was a cemetary---00000--it would really llok spooky. MB

I look at this and can only think of 'the quiet before the storm' and I can 'smell' the rain in the air.
Rather than stark or creepy I get a feeling of peace.
